Installer.app now with mobile juhu

hello friends of jaiku and the iphone/ipod touch, I have some good news for you: mobile juhu 0.4.2 is now available in Installler.app. Thanks to Shaun T. Erickson, who hosts the ste packaging repository, you don't have to do a manual installation anymore - just open Installer on your device, browse to the network section and look for mobileJuhu.

have fun and feel free to give me some feedback.

It is a very cool app on the iphone. But I can't use it until I receive an invite. I guess while I wait I will have to watch everyone else have fun with it. :(

how did you get a key? I have been waiting for one and nothing so far. :(

Plus I think if we have down loaded it from app. they should have given a key to us to use it. If they want us to comment on it... instead of asking for a key and not getting one.

okay, let me clear some things up, the number of invites I have is limited, so please understand, that I can't hand out invites to everyone who asks for one. that said, I am prepared to give away five invites. I just send invites to the two people who posted their actual email addresses - so do the math: the next three persons who post an address here, will also receive one.

and @buck, I am sorry that you feel that way, but I don't expect you to comment on anything, you can if you want to and yes, it's good to hear from some people using it, but like I said, I absolutely do not expect it! if someone leaves a comment, it is because they want to.

@chris I am sorry to hear that, but unfortunately I don't have any workround or tip for you yet. I wasn't able to recreate this problem, which makes it harder to locate and to fix, but I am on it. It would help, if you could drop me a line with your device specs, like type (iphone or ipod), firmware version and so on, might make things easier to debug... thank you.

I'm sorry if it seem like I was being bitchy. I wasn't, and that wasn't the point. I hate it when you type things that it doesn't give the same tone as if you were speaking it and hearing it.

how do find the key of you r a member already?

Unknown said...

you have to click on the 'api' link in the footer of your jaiku
page. The default key will be listed in the resulting api.jaiku.com page.

This program is pretty cool. I like that you don't have to send a email to post something. That is a plus over iRovr and twitter on the iphone. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see what else you guys are going to do and add to this.

The Links on the Jaikus are not visible. Is it coming in the future versions?
