juhu 0.6.0

there is a more recent version available (0.6.3) - please download this one.

and there it is - another built. in addition to a number of smaller fixes and changes (like new refresh times), there is one big new feature: commenting! yes, finally I made up my mind and implemented the non api way to post a comment. you can click the litte comment button below the actual post and enter your comment in the input field. just try it! I hope some of you will let me know if it works for you and tell me about issues and bugs you experience. thanks and have a good time.

juhu 0.6.0 can be downloaded here (via google 397kb).

you can get the complete source code from the google code project page.

Do you know what switch Juhu flips in order to start at login? I shut that option off but it still starts when I login to 10.4.9. I can't find it in my login items, nor in /Library/StartupItems.

I assume you are using 0.6.0, because there was a bug in 0.5.8 regarding the login stuff. basically it should show up in the Users login items in the system preferences, at least it does on my mac. but the actual entry is located in ~/Library/Preferences/loginwindow.plist you have to look for juhu in the AutoLaunchedApplicationDictionary and delete the juhu entry. hope this helps. but I am not exactly sure, why on your machine it doesn't show up in the list...

Strange, I upgraded to 0.6 before posting this comment to see if the issue had been fixed, and I didn't see the entry in my Accounts pref pane. I just went back and checked and poof there it was. Thanks for such a quick response.

Thisis now the perfect app! All I ask for is the ability to expand the window so I can see more.

Thanks SO much!

oh leo, thank you very much. although I have to disagree - it's not quite the perfect app yet - but I'm working hard to make it one ;) the window expanding thing is already in the works...

yeah, the window expanding is the one thing I want the most, that's the only thing that's making me use the web app instead :)

This is a really cool little app. Apart from the window scalling, do you have any plans to make the text a little bigger!!!
